The course of true love is often rocky.

For both Brian and Sharon, finding each other in early 2001, both of them trying
to rebuild lives after failed and ended marriages, this was never more the case.

Brian was a British subject, and was living near Ipswich, Suffolk and Sharon was a
US citizen, living in Fort Worth, Texas - which made them 4,800 miles apart.

This web site started out as thier way to document their love and how in
2001, Brian got to emigrate to the USA and marry Sharon.

Now that time has moved on, we have expanded the site to include much
more about our daily life, but the core facts of the process that Brian had
to go through to get his visa and live with his new love are also still here.
